Silky and splendid are exactly the right words for this annual. It has blue-green leaves in a basal clump and long slender flowering stems to 25 to 40 cm. Each stem carries a 4 to 5 cm classic daisy flower with a yellow centre and white silky petals radiating out, a few of which have deep purple markings near the centre. Dries well.
Grows in a wide range of soils in full sun in a pot or the garden.
